Soy Basics

Soy Basics, LLC got its start in 2000. Since that time we have revolutionized the way candles are made. Our exclusive innovations – including the patent-pending Tempacure™ process – are at the very heart of why Beanpod was founded: to create top-quality, homegrown products that make a positive difference in people's lives.

We proudly pour our candles in New Hampton, Iowa, the nation's heartland of soybean growers. The quality of each candle reflects the hometown hospitality and strong, Midwestern ethics of our town, a community of less than 5,000 residents. From our customer service representatives, to our associates and distributors, our passion for quality and total customer satisfaction is never-ending.

Department 56

Now that the Christmas season is here, decorating is a top priority. Department 56 collectors of lighted ceramic houses are no exception. Many wait all year to get their Dept 56 houses and accessories unboxed and displayed. But why is collecting and displaying them so enjoyable (and important)? Why do Dept 56 collectors go to such lengths to make displays that are beautiful, whimsical and memorable?

The Dept 56 pieces are simply gorgeous whenever, or wherever, they are displayed, whether it be individually, in a vignette, or in a large display. Since the pieces are so unique and beautiful, it's really hard to go wrong displaying them.

Dept 56 collections particularly lend themselves to those who have a taste for creativity. Making arrangements of any kind is an exercise in creativity, but combining artistic expression with 'city planning' is always enjoyable.

Primal Elements

The scent of sweet citrus and cool mint fills the air of a Southern California kitchen. A woman squeezes past a young girl sorting rose petals to pour an amber liquid from a steaming pot. This kitchen in Huntington Beach, California was the location of Primal Elements in 1993.

Today, things have changed. With over 40 employees, Primal Elements has moved out of the kitchen and into a 25,000-square-foot facility, but continues to use the same hand-made process to create Primal Elements Handmade Vegetable Glycerin Soaps. Primal Elements was born out of a need. Faith and Scott Freeman, founders of Primal Elements, initially owned a bath, body and aromatherapy shop in Belmont Shore, CA. In 1993, due to the difficulty of obtaining unique soaps for their store, they started designing creative handmade soaps in a class of their own.
